Eric Ramseur specializes in .NET 1.x-3.5 technologies with 8 years total experience in the field and has held Software Solution Architect and Team Lead titles. One intangible asset is his keen ability to think outside the box and contribute brilliant solutions to problems.

He is currently a Microsoft Beta Tester and has beta tested such products as Visual Studio 2002/3, Visual Studio 2008, and the .NET 4.0 beta frameworks.

He  likes developing n-tier Applications on the .NET framework using  Web Technologies that include but are not limited to: ASP.NET  applications, Enterprise Portal Applications, ASP.NET Web Services, and Mainframe Applications. Internal development is a   preferred ecosystem using the SQL Server 2005/8 platform for data storage, but he has worked with many database systems such as MySql and Oracle.

Primary Roles
Eric’s primary roles include Remedy Developer, Software Development Lifecycle Administrator, and Architectural Advisor in a wide variety of business applications. He is particularly interested in client/server, internet application services and relational database design. A migration project through remedy  development is also a strong focus in either updating your next big thing or applying maintenance through application integration.

Mr. Ramseur’s last project was providing Release and Knowledge Base management through continuous integration. Wiki and Open source CCNET systems were used to automate the process of internal development and release. Unit testing was wrapped into the package mix to provide quality checks and solid releases. All developers needed to do was check in code and the process would take care of itself strongly reducing life cycle time and human error.

Eric was also tasked  in providing a service framework to connect partners with secured internal systems to improve revenue channels. WCF is used to provide functionality through Contracts and endpoints from one service as opposed to multiple ASMX web services. The project went from just an idea to a full fledge product with targeted revenue in the millions and manages 8 million parts  with 64 million associations.
