We work on projects to advance our mission to empower people with the power of the Internet. These projects represent our dedication to our cause. As you see, many of our projects are powered by our Appleseed Portal software. We work on Appleseed so that we can make other projects real.
We build many of our solutions on Appleseed Portal. It is an open source portal framework project that we have been working on for several years. Our goal is to make it the easiest way for someone to start and run their enterprise by integrating the best software services available.
“Strategy for Good” was started by the Anant Corporation with three other independent non-profit development and internet strategy professionals who want to make the world a better place with the internet. They brainstormed and created a seminar series which would help non profits, community members, and students understand how to use business strategy and technology to do good for their society and the world. We'll be doing one each year.
To showcase what Appleseed Portal could be used for, we designed a prototype web application / software service that we for the rental / property management market. There are a few decent SaaS solutions that make it easier for Property Managers to run their business, however our case study showed that it could be done as a hosted solution as well.
After seeing the less than adequate reading proficiency levels in the United States, we started an initiative to increase proficiency in America with the use of Internet technology and smart phones. We're seeking funding for this project as a separate non-profit.
We're creating an intelligent relationship manager and personal development tool which combines the best of the social web to help you create more meaning relationships.
We're working on a few peripheral projects which will be integrated with Appleseed and we're constantly looking for ways to add or integrate entprepreneurial education into Asitchanges.com
